We hope this note finds you and your families safe and well during these unprecedented times. This is uncharted territory for us all, but we will navigate these challenges together.

 

We are fortunate to be a small operation. Our forge master, Alex, is still producing blades with his team in China. They and their families remained healthy throughout and their extended quarantine has been lifted as of mid March. Our California warehouse has been socially isolating since before it was cool by alternating shifts between our two warehouse staff. We also wear gloves and have increased our sanitizing between shifts. As long as we can send out orders in the mail, we will be shipping.

 

In response to these devastating time, particularly for our industry, Forge To Table is donating $5 for every knife sold in the month of April to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund. This Fund is operated by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, whose mission is to attract, empower and advance today’s and tomorrow’s restaurant and food service workers.


We also have industry discounts for chefs in need of knives. Email us with your business card or a picture of you at work for your promo code. (Bonus points for fun kitchen pics!)

 

If you have the funds, we encourage you to donate directly to help restaurant industry employees experiencing hardship in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. And don't forget to order take-out or delivery from your favorite locally owned restaurant!
